He Who Hunts Demons

Elmer Hills watched his parents murdered by a Demon Summon at the tender age of ten, shattering his life and whatever bright future he hoped was in store for him. Driven by hatred for demons and a thirst for revenge, he journeys to the city of Ur eight years later and becomes a Demon Hunter, making a living out of hunting the endless swarm of demons roaming the lands of Fitzroy, while he actively seeks out that which had murdered his parents. However, his path is frowned upon by the Church. Like every other illegal Demon Hunter, he is hunted down, but when he is found, he is offered a place in their ranks. Elmer accepts. After all, what better place for him to garner the resources to find the demon that has been tormenting him for years than in the Church? And besides, not only does he get paid double for his services, he becomes a Transcendent. More power was always appreciated.
