Damien Reeve was just an obsessive reader. For ten years, he devoted his life to Conspiracy Theory Society — a dystopian web novel filled with megacorporations, hidden experiments, artificial gods, and conspiracies buried beneath conspiracies. He knew every arc, every plot hole, every forgotten character. And he hated how the story was falling apart. When the novel’s mysterious author suddenly gave him a chance to leave feedback through a hidden questionnaire, Damien spent five minutes tearing the story apart, arrogantly claiming he could write it better himself. Then he woke up inside the novel. Now stranded in the rain-soaked megacity ruled by the very corporations he used to criticize online, Damien quickly realizes something terrifying: The world of CTS is far worse than the novel ever described. The conspiracies are real. The corporations are watching. And characters who were supposed to die are still alive. Armed only with his knowledge of future events, Damien tries to survive while uncovering the truth behind the world, the mysterious author known as AntiCorp, and why he was brought here in the first place. But the more he changes the story, the more the story changes him. And somewhere in the shadows of the city, something is already watching the “reader” who wasn’t supposed to exist.
