Charlie and Jenny always planned to leave the tiny desert town of Purgatory. Someday. Instead, they’re stuck fixing fences, drinking at Chang’s, and surviving another endless week in the middle of nowhere. Then the ground starts shaking. When people begin disappearing around the valley, Charlie discovers something monstrous is moving beneath the desert floor. Trapped alongside Jenny, a stranded seismologist, and a handful of locals, he must keep everyone alive while deadly underground predators turn Purgatory into a hunting ground.
