Ardnora: Insurgency

Ten years ago (twenty in Earth years) the Kingdom of Corlencia, the greatest nation on the planet Ardnora, collapsed into anarchy and revolution. From the ashes rose the People's Republic of Corlencia, a despotic regime which now imports non-human aliens en masse, and tramples human rights in the name of "equality." All dissenters, especially Christians, are imprisoned in the Gulag, a super-prison for enemies of the regime.  Lance Tabor was the youngest escapee ever, fleeing the Gulag at only eight (Earth) years old. Now he's seventeen, eking out a living as a maintenance tech and moon-lighting as a domestic terrorist, under the command of a monarchist resistance group called the Legion of Black Banners. His ultimate goal: freeing his parents from the Gulag, even if he's not sure whether they're alive. Regan Iradana is from a world opposite Lance's- the sole heiress of a high-ranking regime politician, she attends the prestigious Rylung Academy, seeking to become a surgeon. Though she spends her days living in the lap of luxury, her dissatisfaction and curiosity have led her to a secret community of Christians worshipping in secret. Even being seen with them could be a death sentence, but Regan finds herself drawn to the faith. A chance run-in between the two ends up forcing Regan into joining him in his violent activities, as the Legion escalates its war against the regime. Can the two of them survive, staying hidden in the shadows? Or will the boot of democratic tyranny crush them?
