Rewritten Past

It was one of those fun throwaway GIFs. Kind of like 'will you press the button.' A thought experiment about what you would choose. Pick two: get a million now, go back in time with your memories, or undo a major regret.  Alex Li had been bored and stumbled upon the image on Twitter one day. Since he didn't have anything better to do, he commented on the post. "Obviously, go back in time with my memories." The next thing he knew, he was five years old again, back in 1999.  But there was one problem. You see, unlike most people, he didn't remember anything about his childhood. And he was about to experience firsthand exactly WHY he forgot. --- Vaguely inspired by true events in my personal life. Playing hard and loose with timelines here.
