2,000 years after the end of Final Fantasy VI's "Vector Wars" and 197 years after an event known as the "Third Dissidia Incursion," The Nation of Figaro is a utopian, global superpower.  Along with the Order of St. Terra and other like-minded organizations and countries, Figaro's mission is to both utilize magic to enrich life for all beings and to educate societies on the proper use and integration of it.  First Lieutenant Tristan Runeborn is a member of the Brasswing Dragoons of Figaro, one of Figaro's most-respected knightly orders.
