by Brewer Tombs
A man who slips through walls for a living has one rule: never get involved. Mostly, he uses his abilities to rob rich people. Luxury condos. Private vaults. Hidden safes. In a city where corruption is just another utility bill, staying invisible has kept him alive. Then he breaks into the wrong penthouse. Inside, he discovers a hidden room containing a terrified young woman and evidence tied to a string of disappearances the city has already started forgetting. By the time he escapes, a wealthy sadist has marked him for death, and two homicide detectives are trying to figure out whether he’s a witness, a suspect, or something worse. He never wanted to save anyone. But somebody finally found something he can’t walk away from.
