First of the Lotus: Lotus Ascending

He died in a cage.He woke up with nothing. Arthur Lee was a professional fighter with one mistake too many—debts he couldn’t outrun and a final match he was never meant to win. He died on the concrete. He woke up as a helpless infant at the gates of a mountain monastery. Raised as Xue Jian, he learns discipline, restraint… and the limits of both. The monks teach him to endure. The world beyond the mountain teaches something else. As memories of his past life return, Xue Jian begins to see what others cannot: Cultivation is flawed.Power is hoarded. And the strongest path… has been deliberately ignored. In secret, he builds something new. A forbidden path that merges: ruthless combat instinctprecise body cultivationand a truth the orthodox sects fear to acknowledge Dual cultivation is not indulgence. It is power. As his strength grows, so does the cost. The monastery that raised him demands restraint. The world beyond demands submission. Xue Jian will offer neither. To break the system, he’ll need more than strength. He’ll need allies.Partners.And women powerful enough to stand beside him—not behind him. Fist of the Lotus: Lotus Ascending is a progression fantasy blending brutal hand-to-hand combat, cultivation innovation, and a rising power structure built on partnership instead of control.
