ARKANE : THE HOLY GUARDIAN : Chapter 1

In the peaceful village of Elaria, fifteen-year-old Arkane lives a quiet life filled with boredom, childish troublemaking, and dreams he cannot understand. Raised by an old woman named Nera, he has never known the truth about his birth — nor the terrifying destiny sleeping within him. But when children begin disappearing during the night, Arkane encounters a horrifying creature from the forbidden northern forest. The attack awakens something deep inside him: strange memories, visions of a crimson sky, and whispers of an ancient war long forgotten by mankind. Twelve hundred years ago, the heavens were torn apart by a legendary battle between Astet, the Holy Guardian of the gods, and Mafet, the Demon King of destruction. Their sacred weapons, Mois and Andrite, shattered during the final battle, scattering their power across the world. From that day onward, darkness slowly began to spread in secret. Now, as monsters rise once again and kingdoms edge closer to chaos, Arkane and his friends are drawn into a conflict far greater than they could ever imagine. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, Arkane must uncover the truth behind his origins, the mysterious power sleeping within him, and the prophecy that foretells the return of both light and darkness. Because in a world where heroes and monsters are born from the same fate… The greatest battle has only just begun.
