The world exists beneath the Godshroud. As fractures spread across reality, humanity awakens supernatural Authorities capable of resisting the corruption leaking into the world. But every awakened understands one truth: the closer you move toward power, the closer you move toward collapse. To advance safely, awakened individuals must enter deadly Trials beneath the Godshroud itself—worlds where resonance determines survival. After awakening, Kael enters a Trial already collapsing beneath corruption, instability, and failing equilibrium. And somewhere beyond the fractures, something is waiting for humanity to lose control.
