It all began the day the humans discovered the existence of the Gods. The humans believed that by killing the Gods, they would obtain overwhelming power. As a result, war became commonplace, and death was treated as nothing more than a sacrifice for ascension. And they were right. The moment the first God fell, mankind changed. Those who consumed divine flesh gained impossible strength. Those bathed in divine blood transcended mortality itself. Kings became tyrants, nations became battlefields, and the heavens themselves trembled beneath humanity’s greed. For a time, humans believed they had won. Until the day He descended. The sky split apart without warning. A crimson light swallowed the world, and every surviving God fell silent in fear. Then, from the torn heavens, a single figure stepped onto the ruined Earth. The being who would come to be known as— The God Who Descended.
