Thousands of years ago a King ruled over reality itself. His Crown gifted him with the ability to control the dominion of existence. However unlocking the power of god comes with the horrible draw back of boredom. So the King ended up de-crowning himself and putting his Crown in the Landscape. The Landscape was an area made by the King himself and was infinitely large. He then opened up the Landscape to the world, allowing anybody to enter it. For 532 years nobody has successfully found the Crown, but that doesn’t stop anyone from entering the Landscape and participating in the Crown Hunt.
