Fushigi has always existed slightly outside the world. Not broken. Not lost. Just watching. Questioning. Waiting for something she couldn't name. When the people closest to her begin disappearing without explanation, the patterns she trusted stop making sense. Then she is taken — stripped of everything, used as a laboratory subject, and killed by a system that needed her silent. But death isn't the end. She wakes somewhere else entirely. A realm where seasons and spirits collide, where the rules of the living world don't reach, and where something ancient has been waiting for exactly what she carries inside her. Now Fushigi must navigate a world she doesn't understand, find what was taken from her, and confront a truth about herself she spent her entire life refusing to feel. Some systems were never meant to be survived. They were meant to be dismantled.
