This story is about some trained swordsmen called Hashiras. They hunt down the demons and save the humanity. They use special breathing technique called total concentration breathing. They use different breathing styles and techniques like wind, fire, sound, insect, water etc. to fight those demons. Their leader name is Ubuyashiki. They are demon slayers and have an association called Demon slayer corps. Their main goal is to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan once and for all. Since he is the main cause of all the sufferings.
