She controls people.
Something controls her.
Sera sees the hidden threads behind every decision—fear, desire, weakness.
Push in the right place, and people change.
It works.
The system rewards her.
Power comes fast.
Control comes easier every time.
Then it gets easier than it should.
Thoughts finish themselves.
Decisions come before she makes them.
The voice guiding her is always right.
Until it isn’t.
Some people don’t respond.
She can’t read them.
She can’t move them.
And when she tries—
something pushes back.
Now her reads are slipping.
Her mistakes are getting worse.
And the thing inside her is getting stronger.
It knows what she’ll choose.
And it’s starting to choose for her.
Everything is working.
She just doesn’t know who’s in control.
