The Rise of the Plebeian

After falling in battle against the Archlich, Cid is offered a second chance by the Oracle: to be reborn twenty years in the past. He is given the choice to become a Seraph—a divine being of absolute perfection—or remain a common mortal. Out of spite for the celestial protectors who never lifted a finger for his people, Cid rejects divinity. He realizes too late that he has traded away an irresistible charisma and a legendary body for his frail, original form. Now a mere plebeian in a world of warring angels and demons, Cid must defy his destiny. His goal is simple: prove that a man of the people, without wings or blessings, can rise above the gods and forge his own path.
