No Lands for Kings

Long ago, there were no kingdoms. There were only two great armies.  "They both fought for land, later the war ended to peace." But the truth of that war is a shadow. No one knows exactly what happened, or the real reason why it started. This knowledge is hidden in a "Secret Scripture". Only two people in the entire world are allowed to know the truth: the High King of the North and the High King of the South. Even when they marry, they do not tell their Queens. When they have children, they do not tell the Princes. Only when an heir is crowned and becomes the King do they receive this secret knowledge. It is a heavy burden, passed from one ruler to the next in total silence.
