At the start of sixth grade, three students—Maya, Lucas, and Mark—find themselves thrown into a new school year that already feels wrong. Maya, a tough and independent tomboy, struggles the most. Placed in Class A, she’s surrounded by loud, mean, or simply incompatible classmates, with only a few people she can tolerate. Once hoping to fit in, she now feels completely out of place and stops trying to be someone she’s not. Lucas, in Class C, faces a different kind of chaos. Their class is a mix of strong personalities, complicated social dynamics, and unpredictable energy. As someone who doesn’t neatly fit into expectations, Lucas quietly observes everything, unsure where they belong—but determined to stay true to themselves. Mark, in Class B, lands somewhere in between. His class isn’t as openly hostile, but it’s still confusing and overwhelming. As he navigates his identity and the pressure of fitting in, he finds himself relying more on the people who truly understand him. Despite being separated into different classes, the three reunite during breaks on the school playground—the only place where they feel comfortable and real. Bonded by their shared frustration and differences, they make a simple pact: no matter how difficult school becomes, they will stick together. As the year unfolds, their friendship becomes their safe space in a world filled with judgment, expectations, and change. Together, they will face conflict, identity, growing up, and the challenge of finding where they truly belong—while learning that sometimes, fitting in isn’t as important as finding the right people to stand beside.
