Brand is a boy of eighteen, and a blacksmiths apprentice. He dreams of many things, making his first sword, meeting a lord or lady and being able to make something worthy of a Spirit. Most of all he dreams of making his father proud, of all his loved ones living good lives and to never see war or Rusted in his lifetime. Alas he is destined for a greater fate, one of Spirits and magic. Of Swords and Rust. Of Nobles and Kings. It all starts when he shows talents his father cannot teach him to use. Criticise me, I won't always respond quickly but I love to always be better at this. I have written small things but this is my first original attempted story. I hope it is enjoyable.
