Goblin Ascension

In a world where goblins are hunted like vermin, mercy is often a death sentence.  Er'Mac, a tiny Goblin, serves the death of his horde and the attack on his brothers. He is content to live alone in an isolated cove. It has everything: fish, a cozy cave, and no humans to try and kill him.  When a wounded elf mage named Alican stumbles into a forgotten cove, she expects to die alone. Instead, she's saved by the little goblin Er'Mac. Alican, after trying to reach her ancestral home stolen by the kingdom of Le'Sharr. Alican, as one of the races of man, is blessed with a system Shard, which the kingdom wants to keep firmly in the hands of humans. This act of kindness cost the two everything  Er'mac decided to aid Alican in getting to her ancestral land. Only to be ambushed by adventurers. After a bloody battle, Alican is killed, and Er'Mac is nearly killed. Only he got lucky and got hold of an Alican shard, awakening a new power, allowing a monster access to a Class system he was never meant to access.  Er'Mac and the now undead Alican want just one thing: revenge. On the adventurers who tried to kill them on Le'Sharr and the Gods for allowing them to suffer. The world will know a goblin's fury.
