Solstice

Lapan, An anthropormorphic fox from another world wakes up in a mysterious red liquid, then in Taipei, where he almost immediately discovers spirits, supernatural beings who bind to their user and grant power. Along with this he must learn the foreign rules of Taiwanese society along with other aliens stranded just like he is, as he goes to a school that only furthens the confusion with new concepts. And amongst all this, rumors spread of a "Spirit Solstice", where the sun blinds all and spirits wreak havoc. They take it upon themselves to investigate the validity of these claims, but the deeper they go, the more into the hidden and unknown they tap, and the more corruption, danger and conspiracy is revealed... Can they find out about and stop the solstice? Can they survive against this foreign world? Can they make the uknown known?
