Most mages study the System for a lifetime. Emil Prodit was remade by something the System never accounted for. The Gods gave humanity the System a thousand years ago. Every magic user is Graded. Every Affinity is recorded. And the Clergy investigates any heretic who delves into the forbidden. A struggling student facing potential expulsion, Emil discovers what he believes to be an opportunity during an expedition into the ruins beneath First Light City. But then he finds himself in cavern that puts him face to face with a being older than humanity itself. By the time he climbs back out, his Status has a second Necromancer Class, he’s gained a heretical Affinity, and he must now master these dark powers before they kill him. Meanwhile, the Clergy’s Inquisitors would execute him without mercy. His classmates and professors alike would turn him in. And the only one Emil can rely on is himself. With the power of Necromancy, reaching C Grade by the spring assessments should be easy. Hiding how he got there will be the hard part. *** About the Series: A fantasy progression LitRPG set in a magical academy with some slice of life.
