In a world where everyone levels from Experience, Kryos levels through hoarding. Kryos, a half-dragon, is cast out of the Drakemount at eighteen. He doesn’t gain power through Experience like everyone else on Vorunor, he levels up by collecting wealth in his hoard: silver, Artifacts, or anything else with monetary value he can get his greedy claws on. With nothing to his name, he joins the Quest Conclave—because Quests mean rewards, and rewards mean survival. But being a half-dragon makes every coin he earns suspect, and every move he makes watched. With only a sharp-tongued rogue willing to work with him, Kryos does the unthinkable . . . he builds a traveling Adventuring Guild.  He has no territory and no safety nets.
