John is an active special forces operator serving in Iraq. One day, while he was on a special operation with his team of five—consisting of him, Blake, Danny, Chris, and Ralph—they were sent to capture a military commander operating deep in enemy territory.John and his team get ambushed by enemy forces and are killed one by one. Just when they think everything is over, they are suddenly transported to another world filled with magic and sorcery, along with all their weapons and gear, by a god who has given them another chance at life. However, they will have to build everything from the ground up due to the lack of technology in this new world. Even with their modern knowledge, they will still face the challenges of a world filled with bureaucracy and unknown enemies who try to stop the marines from finding a way back home—or from creating a new one here. Author’s NoteI am writing this story because I really like the concept of a modern world versus a magical world, but unfortunately, I haven’t found a novel that meets my expectations. So I decided to write one myself. Expect some familiarity with other novels, as I will be taking inspiration from different sources. I apologize in advance for any grammatical mistakes, as English is not my first language. What to Expect: • Modern warfare tactics• Military knowledge and powerful weapons• Action-packed scenes, along with building a new civilization• A romance subplot with characters from the other world• A slow start, but it will pick up later—so be patientPosting Schedule My posting schedule will be about 2 to 3 times a week for the first 50 chapters. After that, it will be reduced to around 1 to 3 times a week because of work. I understand the feeling of waiting a long time for the next chapter, so I will do my best to stay consistent. Also, expect a lot of chapters during the summer :)
