Locked out of Hell

Micheal has spent the better part of eternity in hell, so much time in fact that the caretakers have decided he needs to go.  Given the opportunity, they have returned him to the body of a damned soul in a fantasy world full of magic.  It's a pretty sweet deal, except that he misses his time in hell.  He longs for a return that he is contractually never allowed to get.  But as he navigates a typical fantasy world, he sees it with a different lens.  One that is not rose colored, but hell tinted as he tries to find the creature comforts of hell he misses so much.
