After dying in the most embarrassingly avoidable way possible (involving energy drinks, a cheap gaming chair, and a very questionable life choice), Kai expects either nothingness or maybe a heroic reincarnation. Instead, he wakes up… as a cup. Not a magical sword. Not a dragon. A cup. Specifically, a slightly chipped ceramic cup sitting on the cluttered desk of a chaotic, soft-spoken, and unexpectedly captivating femboy named Ren. At first, Kai’s new existence is pure suffering—he can’t move, can’t speak, and is constantly subjected to being filled with everything from coffee to things he’d rather not think about. But as days pass, he discovers he can feel, think, and—somehow—emotionally connect with the one person who handles him daily. Ren, dealing with his own messy life, insecurities, and social struggles, unknowingly becomes the center of Kai’s world. What starts as absurd frustration turns into fascination… and then something way more complicated. Things spiral further when Kai begins developing strange abilities—like slightly shifting, tipping over at convenient (or inconvenient) moments, and influencing Ren’s life in subtle, chaotic ways. Between awkward near-disasters, accidental “intimate” situations, and wildly inappropriate internal commentary, Kai finds himself caught in a ridiculous but heartfelt journey of connection, identity, and desire… all while being a literal household object.
