Domitores [Teacher | Pioneer-soldier | MMMA]

by Oberst Punkt

ActionChivalryComedyFantasyHigh Fantasy

Domitores© by Oberst Punkt (O.P.) A young veteran in a martial country seeks the one thing denied to lads like him: retirement. But the Excursion Foray does not release its own. Orders tighten. Bonds strain. And the cost of walking away may prove greater than the cost of staying.Follow him as he navigates duty, survival, camaraderie, and the unseen forces that erode even the strongest shield. “How fares you? How goes the abroad service? The Inglovian expedition?” “The west? It is amply well. The barbarians defer to the Republic.” ADDED/CLARIFICATION TAGS: MMMA = Mixed Magical-Martial Arts; a fusion of classic Mana systems with Wuxia/Xianxia Qi, Prana-Chakra, and select invented lifeforces.Pioneer-soldiers = Anachronistic colonial and medieval-style soldiers.Naming convention = English (Vale/Common tongue) given names paired with Latin (Classical tongue) surnames/clan names.Government = Post-HRE Dutch-style republic; notably featuring the “Grand Pensioner” and the “States-General.” DISCLAIMER/What to expect: [1] Part of the Geböþæð-verse.[2] 3rd POV (hybrid of limited and omniscient), present tense, with tonal breaks and an occasional fourth-wall-breaking narrator.[3] Parentheses provide additional context without exposition; dialogue uses quotation marks and bold emphasis (e.g. “Is’t you, Brutus?”); brackets denote skills, weapons, and stats/attributes.[4] High fantasy grounded in realism, with real-world logic and physics.[5] Language blends archaic/Elizabethan/Shakespearean dialogue with primarily modern English narration (and occasional character use).[6] In-world, English represents the Vale/Common tongue; the Runic tongue draws from Germanic languages (German, Dutch, Scandinavian, Gothic), while the Classical tongue draws from Greek and Latin.[7] No professional editing (as of yet).[8] Martial jargon (ranks, positions, etc.) draws from 15th–19th century structures, though the setting reflects an early medieval baseline (7th–8th century, in-world 8th millennium). UPDATE:Average of at least 1,000 words/chapter (biweekly). The first chapters (I–III) was released on 2nd of May 2026.The next chapter is expected on October 3.This work is officially serialized only on royalroad.com and loreum.co under Geböþæð (@gebufai_verse).
