by Aleca Dosini
On the night the sky burned blue and gold, both the fox clan and the hunters knew one thing— He had returned. Once, he was a king. A fox spirit who loved a human girl enough to die for her. But betrayal stained that love. She was killed by hunters… and a trail of fox blood was left beside her body— turning his own people against him. With his heart shattered and his kingdom lost, the Fox King chose death… only to be reborn as human. Now living as Yiran, he carries echoes of a past he doesn’t fully remember— dreams of fire, a girl’s voice, and a love that refuses to fade. At college, he meets Aria— a quiet girl who feels strangely familiar… and dangerously close. But Aria hides a truth of her own. She was born into a family of fox hunters. And so was her brother, Ryu— who is already watching Yiran… waiting… hunting.
