This is a restart/new version/reimagining of "Threads of Crimson" with more care taken into chapters, designed to be a new long term project.
On the day Evander’s father never came home, something inside him quietly broke.
Years later, that fracture follows him into war.
Now a Major, Evander leads his squad on what should be a routine covert mission. In and out. No complications. But the moment they step into the forest, something feels… wrong. The enemy doesn’t move like soldiers. The air doesn’t sound right. And a voice, not his own, begins to speak from nowhere.
Then the world splits open.
His squad is swallowed whole.
No bodies. No survivors. No explanation.
Declared dead, forgotten by command, Evander falls into a place that should not exist.
