Most people trigger in dramatic moments, where their or their loved ones' lives are on the line, or when something truly calamitous has happened to up-end their otherwise peaceful life. For Thomas McCarthy? It took him a week after his mother's death before it all sunk in and he triggered at the empty breakfast table. Side effects can include but are not limited to: Tormented visions of the apocalyptic future, social isolation, taking on a 'radical' and 'lethal' approach to crime-fighting, becoming a wanted fugitive, struggling to figure out what the right thing is, failing at being a teenager, failing even worse at 'getting the girl'. But hey, at least Thomas gets to look cool on videos uploaded to the PHO forums.
