The Void Throne

Aren Valcro lurched forward, one hand outstretched toward the sword-the source of power that would allow him to reclaim his realm. The power to crush those who had taken his kingdom from him, who had murdered his family. But power doesn't come without a price. A blade like Aetherion doesn't respond to rage. It judges-and so Aren was judged. Marked by the blade he wished to command, Aren Valcro now bears the scars of failure, pursued by an enemy that shouldn't exist, and burdened by the memories of those he could not save. Deprived of his power, crippled forever, and imprisoned, Aren must now confront the bitter truth of his situation: He wasn't worthy. Now, stripped of all else he once held, marked by a wound that will never heal, he must choose- Will he continue his quest for the power to destroy? Or will he prove himself worthy to protect?
