Kael was a maintenance technician in a decaying industrial world, accustomed to fixing machines no one else understood. When a critical failure in the central server transports him to a fantasy realm ruled by sword and sorcery, Kael receives no heroic legacy or divine blessing. Instead, he inherits a corrupted Admin Interface. In this new kingdom, Kael is an outcast—an expendable "Support" class for the arrogant adventurers around him. But while they rely on magic, Kael sees the truth: the world is nothing more than poorly optimized code, and magic is just a command line waiting to be hacked. After surviving a massacre that claimed his entire party, Kael finds himself alone, branded a traitor, and wielding a power his own body can barely contain. With the system restricting his capabilities and the entire world turned against him, Kael no longer seeks a way home. His only goal now is to climb the system levels, hack reality, and become the only user with Root privileges. In a world where everyone else is just a cog in the machine, Kael has arrived to take control of the system itself.
