Every life taken grants him a day of life. Qalan was raised in an Abbey and taught to preach love, forgiveness, and the teachings of the Lord. But everything changes when he is bound to a curse that will consume him unless he obeys its only command: kill or die.  Clinging to his monastic upbringing, the monk vows to only use his cursed power to protect the innocent and defend the weak while searching for a way to break the curse. His path will lead him through politics, witches, legendary beasts, ancient magic and unforeseen rivals.
