by Muheon
He is leveling up. He just doesn’t know it. Muheon was an ordinary modern Korean man until he woke up in Joseon with no phone, no hospital, no clean water, and no way home. Then the dead started crawling out of the mud. He does not fight because he wants power. He fights because one bite can kill him. One wound can rot. One night in the wrong place can make him another corpse no one will ever find. But every time Muheon kills the dead, something inside him changes. A record opens beyond his sight. Stats rise. Skills unlock. A graveyard grows inside his soul. The dead he absorbs do not disappear. They become part of his hidden world. Their rivers, ropes, ashes, weapons, graves, and resentment reshape the power in his hand. His crude black blade becomes chains, hooks, shields, wedges, and weapons born from the dead. His wounds begin to resist infection. His fear remains, but his body learns how to survive. Muheon cannot see the system. He cannot see the world evolving inside him. He only knows that every monster he kills makes him stronger— and less certain he is still human. He is not here to save Joseon. He is here to go home. Even if he has to level up on the resentment of the dead to do it.
