They existed since the very concept of hate and lust came into being.
Asmodeus — that was one of his many titles. Some called him the Fallen Angel, others the God of Deception.
Feared by gods and unknown entities alike, Asmodeus spent a hundred years corrupting an Incorruptible Bird. Once he grew bored, he descended into the human realm to find the bird’s descendants.
Unbeknownst to him, he had fallen into a scheme orchestrated by Enkidu and the Protector. Only by sacrificing two of his wings did he manage to escape and arrive in the Land of Gilgamesh — also known as the Land of the Dead.
In this land filled with the vile stench of sin, Asmodeus takes on the identity of the prophesied Savior. Together with his disciple, he roams the realm with the stated goal of freeing it from its ancient curse.
However, would the Fallen Angel — feared even by gods — truly help innocent people?
Or is he doing all of this merely for his own amusement?
