At the Red Robster, love is another table nobody has time to bus. Cody teaches middle-school PE by day and waits tables by night, hiding from the polished future his strict business-owner father planned for him under long hair, a long beard, and a vow to never become that kind of man. Tamika is sharp, tired, funny, and raising a child while trying to keep her own life from sliding off the rails one closing shift at a time. Between crab steam, bad tips, casino lights, rotating general managers, sleepy coworkers, break-room legends, and a restaurant held together by laminated menus and denial, Cody and Tamika keep finding each other in the tiny spaces between disasters. It is a doomed love story. It is also a workplace comedy. Mostly, it is about the people who serve everyone else while quietly falling apart.
