A Life at War: Zenith

The Galaxy burns.  A continuation of the life and times of Thraken Dericote and the Galaxy in which he finds himself. Watch as he continues to lose himself to fighting in a war where decisive actions become more and more necessary and where mistakes could cost the lives of untold billions. The risks have never been greater as a war of shadows and a war of ships and men bring greater and greater clashes. Will the many Rebellions and Insurrections against the Empire succeed, or will their internal squabbling give the Galactic Empire the opportunity to extinguish the final embers of Republic and Confederacy both. Only time will tell.  This fic is the sequel to "A Life at War: Twilight". It is not necessary to have read Twilight to understand what is happening here, though of course I recommend it anyway.  Standard updates weekly on Friday around 5pm EST. Also available on AO3.
