Alex, a 17-year-old boy with a dangerous secret, lives in a village that fears and hunts anything unnatural. Unknown to everyone around him, he is a Wolfwalker—a rare being able to shift between human and wolf at will, a power he gained through forbidden magic. By day, he blends in as an ordinary villager; by night, he runs free in the forest as a gray wolf, hiding his true nature from those who would turn on him. During one of his daytime ventures into the forest, Alex is discovered and attacked by Ethan, an 18-year-old Wolfwalker and the son of a powerful tribal chief. Ethan, a black wolf in his transformed state, initially sees Alex as a threat—an outsider intruding on sacred territory. Forced to defend himself, Alex shifts back into his human form, revealing his identity. Ethan follows suit, wary but curious. Sensing something different, he cautiously approaches and realizes Alex is not an enemy, but one of them. Through Ethan, Alex is brought into a hidden tribe of Wolfwalkers who have lived in secrecy, preparing for an inevitable conflict with nearby human settlements—including Alex’s own village.
