Luna is a young archivist who is head over heels in love with Praesulis, her mentor. The girl finds herself stuck in the midst of a "controlled" chaos; she has a lot of work to do, and she has to prove herself worthy of her new role, a new Mayab of Fove Memoriam and the Assistant Head Staff of the Gallery. Her mentors, Praesulis and Vislesana, both feel like two sides of the same coin. Paradoxically, one is sympathetic and warm, and the other is cold and analytic... but at the end of the day, they're just trying to teach Luna how to be someone competent enough—a lesson that she needs to learn with new missions. These missions are fundamental operations of how the Sacred Gallery, the public face of Fove Memoriam, works. Their goal is to investigate something in the present, so when it ends, people can cherish it through documentation, just like how Mnameter tends her plants for eons. But Luna just knew... for her memories; falling in love with Praesulis would bring her to surviving extreme conditions and situations that she wasn't ready to face fully by herself yet. Now... she has to find her balance through her romantic, professional, and personal life without breaking apart. But deep in the shadows... twilight will always be watching. Consider reading Volume I, "As Night Falls, The Veil Rises," for a better comprehension throughout the story.
