Friend's Game

A revolver, a timer, tied by an electric wire to a chair, locked in an unknown place, a tiny room which has only two chairs and a table set between them. Two friends sit, facing each other playing a game of Russian roulette, only one could escape, only one could win.  Their hands and legs are not tied to the chair but to the rules. And the one who controls these rules is eating popcorn sitting behind the monitor, comparing them to those jokers who risk their lives in the circus to entertain the audience.   One is a foolish joker who doesn’t value his life and takes any risk fearlessly; the other is a fearful joker who trembles performing each task, keeping his heart in his hands.   In this game, there are six rounds. The first round has a price money of six lakhs and twenty-five thousand rupees, and for each round the price money doubles and every round has one minute timer, if you don’t shoot? You’ll lose a lifeline if you defy the rules? You lose a lifeline; if you lose three lifelines, you are eliminated from the game. The wires connected to your body release an electric shock each time you lose a lifeline. The first shock is not lethal but strong enough to break your confidence and see reality. The second shock, however, will make you regret breaking the rules twice, so badly!  And the third shock?... Well, no one was alive after taking one.    There is no escape without a death. It’s either you or your best friend. It’s either you kill your best friend or sacrifice yourself to save your best friend.
