"A boy is only truly a man when he surpasses his father." In a land where the title of "Demon King" is a burden passed through magical talent, a young successor travels the world only to find his kingdom in ruins. This is a short, reflective fable about power, the cycle of history, and a king who sought his own destruction by the hands of a hero. (Author's Note: This is my second self-translated work from Japan. It explores the darker, more philosophical side of the 'Demon King' trope.)
