Zombified: The Divine Tree

A long time ago, in a peaceful, blank universe, there existed two gods. The God of Light and the God of Shadow together shaped the constituents of this universe. However, a battle between them took place, ending with the defeat of the God of Light. Meanwhile, the first living beings to ever exist on Earth were 'zombies', a creation of shadow. However, the god of shadows departed from earth, letting it develop on its own but storing an essence of his power in a relic within earth. The zombies coexisted with insects and dinosaurs and developed their powers. But it was not far from the devastating fight between the king of the zombies and his challenger, which resulted in one crashing an entire asteroid onto earth, resulting in the extinction of dinosaurs and insects. But the king of the zombies managed to save his species by sealing their souls within the cells of a certain tree. After millions of years had passed, the zombies were revived by human interference, and the unfinished battle between the two fighters was destined to resume... once again...
