In the Citadel of the Long March, your shadow can level up… and one day decide it doesn’t need you anymore.Sai wakes up in Kharovail, a VRMMO he recognizes… except now there’s no way to log out, and no explanation for why he’s here. He remembers almost nothing from before he arrived in Kharovail. The Citadel of the Long March is a colossal walking fortress-city that never stops: twelve levels, from gilded upper tiers to infected slums below. No one knows where the Citadel is headed. Only one thing is clear: it never turns back. And Sai’s shadow is no longer an ordinary shadow. It can speak, argue, hunt, and cast spells. Every time Sai uses its power, a new meter appears in his interface: Corruption: 0% → 100%At low values, the shadow obeys. At mid values, it shows a personality. At high values, it starts controlling its host.At 100%, the System reclassifies you as a Shadow Mob, a mad monster that wears your body like clothing.Sai needs answers before the timer runs out. Sai needs a cure before Corruption reaches 100%.Rumors say there are others just like him: the viral subclass known as the Penumbra Weavers. They’re rare, broken, and dangerous. If Sai wants to be cured, he’ll have to find them before his own shadow decides it doesn’t need a host anymore. What to expect:• LitRPG progression with a clear system and steady power growth• A viral subclass: Weaver of the Penumbra (shadow magic layered over any base class)• A harsh, escalating Corruption meter that turns every big cast into a risk calculation• A massive dungeon-city: 12 levels, many locations, shifting architecture, and brutal social hierarchy• A mystery-driven plot. Lots of twists! Get ready!• Action + exploration + strategy (and sometimes dark humor from a literal “inner demon”) No harem. Romance is minimal / slow-burn and stays in the background. Release schedule & length2,000–3,000 words per chapter. Updates: Mon / Wed / Fri
