The Age Of Metaverse

James: "I was born in the wrong generation to be dealing with this nonsense..." In 2125 everyone uses the VR world network called the Metaverse. Last year high-schooler James is no exception. Some of his favorite games are the fantasy world Unchaste Lands and Army Simulator developed by the U.S. army. Unfortunately, James's brother serves as a soldier on Mars and his other family members are scattered throughout the futuristic U.S. He needs to fight and grow both in the Metaverse and in the real world to bring his family back together. This story will be about training in real life and in different VR worlds, getting stronger, building influence, dealing with politics and problems in the year of 2125. Even if the Sci-Fi or Cyberpunk/Tech-Dystopia is not your vibe, this story will have more - slice of life, fantasy elements, banter, satire, foreshadowing etc. Book 1 is written and will be uploaded.
