Dave Sole died… and somehow ended up in the worst afterlife imaginable: an endless corporate office in Purgatory. No fire. No brimstone. Just paperwork, bad coffee, and a soul-crushing eternity of middle management. When Dave stumbles across a classified manual, he finds something impossible—a way out. Now back in the Mortal Realm, Dave is on borrowed time. To survive, he must become something he never signed up to be: a Soul Collector, hunting the recently dead before they slip away. But someone in Purgatory doesn’t want him free—and they’re willing to erase him completely to fix their mistake. Caught between bureaucratic conspiracies, paranormal threats, and a team of very questionable allies, Dave has one goal: Stay alive long enough to never go back.
