The Archfiend's Missive

In the distant past, the Great Giant and the Archfiend fought for control of the world. The Giant was defeated, and the Archfiend became the ruler. Humans were affected by the Archfiend’s miasma, but they gained great wisdom from it. A long time has passed. The war is now forgotten, and people live in peace. Twelve kingdoms exist on the land that was once the Giant’s great axe. However, this peace is forced. It is maintained by the "Demon Locusts," a disaster that eats everything. If a country starts a struggle for power, the Demon Locusts appear and destroy that country. Therefore, rulers must not have the will to invade others. Now, in "Thousands," the central country of the twelve nations, a distorted political struggle is beginning. To change this world, one must find the "Missive." It is the letter that the Archfiend sent to the Giant, and it is currently sealed and lost.
