This is Volume 3 of an ongoing series, but it stands entirely on its own. No prior knowledge of Volume 1 or 2 is required to enjoy this story. Readers of the earlier volumes will find additional layers of depth, but newcomers can dive in without hesitation. Volume 2 is now complete and available to read. Volume 1 is currently in preparation and will be published at a later date. A Glossary of key terms and technology is available as the first entry — recommended reading before you begin. Note: Chapter 1 (v3c01) is a standalone extra story set between Volume 2 and Volume 3. It has no direct connection to the main story.
