The Old well

The city of Nightshade, sprawling with promise as corruption eats at the roots, is home to an exclusive club. A place called The Old Well, catering to the wealthiest of the Nightshade's elite. The wealth they gather in exchange for good drinks and, more importantly, high discretion is directed to a more secret cause. A quiet force for change, avoiding red tape and helping the helpless in the city that go ignored by a police department rife with corruption. As the rules continue to shift and change, two new agents have come into the employ of The Old Well. The half-Orc Krake Kaldora, and the Hellblooded Nelaros Rodenna.  But a new, unknown variable stalks the streets of Nightshade, a killer the media has dubbed "The Riverside Ripper." Now, with a girl missing and time running out, Krake and Nelaros have been set on a path to solve a mystery the law cannot... or will not. With the aid of their mysterious employers, new allies who may also be enemies, and a private investigator, they will follow the trail of The Ripper to it's unknown, twisting end.
