The Oasis of the Eye

A man in the desert. That is how it begins. A man with no memories and no name in a place where no man could live. But there is something special about the man. An artifact he carries: A plain copper bracelet that offers the gift of resurrection. In the dark beneath a long dead city, an ancient god wakes to find the land changed, the people gone and nothing left behind but sand and ruins. The man is weak and unfit, and an unworthy apostle. He will make for a poor tool if he cannot be strengthened, but there is no other tool to hand. Bearing the gifts of his new patron and the means of enhancing his own strength, the man travels to the north in search of an artifact that might restore that which was lost so long ago... But at what cost?
