In a world where every person’s race is determined at adulthood by the mana within them, Lyra was never supposed to survive.
Raised alone in a dying mountain town, she spent years living off a forbidden fruit that permanently increases mana—fruit so foul and dangerous that most people abandoned it generations ago. By the time her Becoming arrives, the System itself begins to fail trying to classify her.
Human.
Elf.
Demon.
None of them fit.
For the first time in recorded history, a new race is born.
Now marked as an Aetherborn, Lyra is pulled into a world that suddenly cares far too much about a girl it ignored for years. Powerful kingdoms, ancient prejudices, ambitious nobles, and the remnants of an old curse all begin turning toward her existence.
But while the world sees a threat, a weapon, or a miracle, Lyra is just trying to understand what she has become.
And whether she’s finally allowed to have a family.
A progression fantasy/LitRPG featuring meaningful stat growth, racial evolution, mana-based magic, found family, academy arcs, and a protagonist whose existence may change the world itself.
